British law says Archie and Lilibet are a prince and princess
British law states that the grandchildren of a reigning monarch automatically become a prince and princess but King Charles III has not yet acknowledged this regarding Archie and Lilibet the children of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The law does not state that there are any stipulations like the parents having to be working royals or living in the UK.
It does not matter whether or not the new king recognizes them or if Meghan haters and or racists don’t believe they should have the titles the truth is these children were born with royal blood and their grandfather is the reigning monarch.
Royal watchers suggest that the king is waiting to find out the context of Harry’s new book “Spare” as based on the name it appears the Prince understood that his older sibling was the heir apparent. and the nickname he was given. Harry has been and continues to be treated like a spare and apparently, this has trickled down to his children. There is nothing in British law that says a reigning monarch can decide whether or not his grandchildren are a prince or princesses it comes with the territory.
The world continues to catch and wait as the new king does nothing to indicate that he is abiding by the rule of the law. Charles III not acknowledging Lilibet and Archie in no way changes the fact that they are of royal blood. The other issue this brings up is the decades-long rumor that Harry’s biological father is Major James Hewitt which if true would mean his children are not of royal blood. Hewitt, however, points out that the prince was two years old when he began his affair with Princess Diana. Surely a DNA test was done to confirm that Charles is Harry’s father but the rumors persist so we really don’t know what the king is thinking.
There have also been stories that suggest that Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan Markle will later decide if their children will take on any royal monikers but why deny them what belonged to them at birth? It’s as petty to deny these children their birthright as it is for Prince Harry to have been dubbed a “Spare.” King Charles III did not have the authority to give the titles and he should not be the one to take them away. Some believe that it is Harry and Meghan who gets to decide and it’s all pretty ridiculous. Just call the children who they are.
