The moment we’ve all been waiting for is finally here: the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs rematch.
Last year, the Eagles, led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, came up just short of the Chiefs across the board. Hurts finished second in the MVP race behind Kansas City’s superstar Patrick Mahomes, who has already been anointed as the young GOAT expected to rival Tom Brady when his career is all said and done.
Super Bowl LVII finished with a controversial call, and Philadelphia lost 38-35 despite an impressive performance by Hurts, which featured 374 total yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns in the Eagles’ favor.
Although Hurts was sensational in his first Super Bowl appearance, he’s been vocal about his guilt for his single costly mistake, a fumble that resulted in a touchdown for the Chiefs.
Winning this game would allow Hurts to redeem himself for that turnover and enjoy what has been a dominant season for Philly, which at 8-1, holds the best record in the NFL this season.
