Jason Kelce plans to release a second Christmas album, and even joked that Taylor Swift might appear. Kelce said when asked if Taylor Swift might appear on a song, “Maybe”, “Not this one, not this time”.
In an interview, Today co-host Sheinelle Jones jokingly said, “Discuss raising funds for charity, you could break the internet.” To which he replied “That would be pretty incredible, but maybe in the future.”
Jordan Mailata, another teammate, remarked, “I have no idea who that is. I’m not sure what you’re talking about”, making fans a little bit confused.
Taylor Swift is currently rumoured to be dating Travis Kelce, his younger brother. On Sunday, the “Midnights” singer was in an Arrowhead suite cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.
Jason, for one, is preparing to release his second Christmas album with Philadelphia Eagles teammates Lane Johnson and Mailata. They decided to record their first album after hearing Mailata’s rendition of “White Christmas.”
Jason went on to say that they sing around a lot, like Lane and he will go in the same car after a game sometimes, and they will listen to songs.
This time, the sportsmen perform Mariah Carey’s timeless “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”
“It was kind of nerve-racking at first, just because I can’t really do the same key as the Queen of the Holidays,” said Mailata. “She’s amazing. So we had to dial it back a few keys and, you know, put our own spin on it.”
