Taylor Swift’s dating life has been a national obsession since she started writing love songs at age 15. And, after her split from longtime love Joe Alwyn this past spring, she’s been linked to a few famous faces. The latest: Kansas City Chiefs star player Travis Kelce.
It might seem like this news is coming out of left field, but there have been a few little hints here and there that *could* possibly point towards a connection. Specifically, Travis shared on his New Heights podcast that he went to a Taylor Swift concert at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium in hopes of meeting the queen herself. What’s more, he wanted to give her his phone number.
“If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets. I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” he said. “She doesn’t meet anybody, or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal.”
For what it’s worth, Tay’s tour had no scheduled meet-and-greets, so it makes sense that Travis didn’t get the chance to see her.
